The great thing about pulling is that your game doesn’t have to be perfect; it just has to be good enough. On a scale of 1-10 the difficulty was probably a 4. She was in her late 20s and a 7, but she was probably an 8.5 six or seven years ago and that fantasy is what really turned me on about her. I’m not extremely “proud” of this pull, if anything, it reflects that I still have a long way to go to get to where I want to be, but it’s all about enjoying the journey, right? =)

I was in Vegas on an overnight trip for my room-mates 30th birthday party. I rolled out with my buddy Tre, who is 6’5 and a bartender, and I could tell that I was going to have a hard time competing because he is a bigger man-whore than I am and because of his sheer size and good looks he can control frames with ease.

By the time we got to Vegas it was already 3pm and so we rolled out to the pool for an hour. We walked around the pool with some great body language, and we got some amazing attention because of Tre’s size. After we completed the circle, we posted up next to the hottest two chicks (HB 10 and HB 9). I opened them with some BS about whether it had been warmer in the day, and from there it was on.

I started running the set, and was killing it, but about 5 minutes in Tre started to compete for the dominant frame and it was a tough competition. He was playing it cool and cocky funny and was getting drinks for the girls from the bar (AFC move, but the way he did it was very suave, and he knows how to deal with bartenders because he is one, so his social proof went through the roof). When we went to sit back down, I had to figure out how we were going to pair off between the two girls. If I had continued trying to game both of the girls realized that Tre would continue to compete with me for the HB 10, so I decided to focus on the HB 9.

We were running late for the birthday dinner, so I attempted to pull the girls up to our room to take some shots. Unfortunately I came across as a little too harsh and so the girls felt that Tre was investing time with them and I was being a jerk… I’ve had this happen to me a couple of times when I’m competing with girls over another guy.

The girls have yet to get ready so they don’t come up to the room with us but tell us to come down on our way out. We end up pulling some other randoms from the hotel into our room and take some crazy shots that Tre makes with his bartending skills. We number close and tell them that we are going to call them later in the night. We head down to the two girls’ rooms and number close them since they are still not ready and we have to make it out to the birthday dinner.

After dinner is when things took off for me. I don’t like being an approach machine, I’d rather open two sets and run solid game than 40 and be sloppy, but fuck it, I was in Vegas, drunk, and felt like being silly. Besides, I was walking around the casinos with 4 couples who didn’t want to go clubbing and Tre, and so I was bored and needed some entertainment. My favorite set out of the entire night was a two set of redheads who I convinced I was on my bachelor party that ended up in a makeout. But I digress…

Fast forward to about 1:30am. The couples have finally gone to bed and so Tre and I are free to go clubbing. We get into Tryst and my brushfire had become a full blown five alarm forest fire. There was a never ending supply of sets, and by the end of the night I had probably approached about 30 of them.

I saw her at a few different points in the night, but I didn’t end up talking to her until later in the night. She had seen me talking to a lot of the sets that I had opened so my social proof was running very high. I had actually opened her group of friends and had won them over when I saw her eyeing me like a piece of meat. At that point I immediately opened her and started talking one on one. After a few minutes, I grabbed her hand and said lets go dance. I turned to her group of friends and said, we’re going to go dance for a bit, is that OK with you? They complied, and it was on.

We danced for a while and in my mind I was running through scenarios of how I was going to pull her back to my room in a different hotel. Eventually we went back to find her friends who had since disappeared from where they had previously been and she left her phone in her room in the Monte Carlo so she couldn’t call them to find out where they were.

I suggested we go for a walk around the casino to sober up for a bit. She agreed and just as we were leaving the club she decided she wanted to go back in and look for her friends again. OK – change her mood, not her mind and try again. I decided to pump her state with a little makeout sesh, and then tried one more time to pull her out of the club. BOOM this time it worked. If I was running solid game, I would have pumped her state with something other than the makeout, but it is what it is.

As soon as we got out of the club, I walked straight into the taxi line. She kept suggesting that we go find her friends and I kept countering with yes, let’s look for them at your hotel, you don’t have your phone on you and we couldn’t find them at the club, how else are we going to find them. This was trickier than it seems, because she kept bringing up objections and I kept getting her to take incremental steps in the right direction. At one point one of the girls standing in line next to us turned to us and said, “honey, at this point your just being difficult, he’s trying to help you find your friends, just go back with him!” at this point she just said OK and we got into the taxi.

Now we’re in the taxi, and she’s getting car sick. The entire time I’m distracting her by getting her to imagine the adventures that we are going to go on like a safari and scuba diving and just chilling on the beach. In my mind I’m thinking “HURRY THE FUCK UP CABBY!” After what seemed like an eternity, we finally got to the Monte Carlo.

We get inside her room, her roommates aren’t there. She says she has to pee. I take off my shoes and turn on the TV to find some music. She gets out of the bathroom and lies down on the bed. I turn off the lights and as I walk over to the bed she looks at me and says “hurry up and fuck me before my friends get home.”

One final piece of advice: Always be prepared with more than one condom. It’s a pain in the ass having to run to the lobby to buy more B-)
