I've been studying hypnotherapy at Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Tarzana, CA. During the course of my studies, I've come across my first mini-workshop: EFT. Emotional Freedom Technique, well... I'll let you Youtube it, or Google it. But I was able to receive my basic certification, which entitles me to teach it, should I decide to add it to my (future) practice.

Anyway... I was surprised that this stuff works... I wasn't too sure since this falls into "alternative healing." But I would do the technique before I would sarge, & although AA didn't go away immediately, I would feel a difference everytime I did it. I still feel it, but now I can approach with little to no hesitation.

See if it works for you, I'm not pitching anything or any services or products. The information is free on Youtube or Google.

hope this works...

p.s. I think Youtube also has a lot of NLP stuff on their as well.

Heard good things on EFT... but know nothing solid

This is just kinda unrelated

I went though HMI 6 years ago. Got to a "certified master hypnotist" level.. did not finish. met my exwife and did not pursue HT practice.. remember the recruiter guy (Craig, I think, Blond/buff gay looking dude) hypnotize me covertly with all the qualifier tests and personality tests before doing the shpiel and signing me up... At first I kinda forgot about it, then after a while that surfaced... You had anything similar?

Erica Awakening is the foremost champion of EFT, as applied to pickup.

I'm not going to go into further details, or, my candid opinion on the subject, but, ask yourself this:
"If EFT worked, like NLP, or long-term hypnosis, or chiropractic, then, shouldn't you be able to stop doing it at some point in time?"

And, on the side note, what do you think you look like standing/sitting there, tapping yourself on the hand? :wall:

Your replies are interesting. Thank you for your feedback. I haven't tapped for a few weeks now. I actually forgot about it. As far as what I look like tapping on my hand, I don't particularly care what people think I look like. but to satisfy any communication gaps, I would do the method alone in my room before going out.

I think anything is worth a try, as long as it has a positive intention.

As far as my experience at HMI goes, I've had nothing but a positive experience there. They also offer NLP training & certification for considerably less than most program out there. Santa, I am truly sorry that you felt duped going there. It's unfortunate that some people have that happen to them. For me...I mainly started up there to do lots of inner game/mental-emotional-spiritual "house cleaning." It's been an awesome time for me there & I feel so much better about myself & my life.
