i think looks only matter if you dont bring any other value to the table, or dont see any other valuable first impression of you.

It defiantly helps out a lot! However, if a good looking guy has zero game then he's not going to be able to interact the same way someone less attractive with solid game could with a girl!

I gotta say..that for men..looks don't matter that much. Tall works. Even a little chub can be attractive.

For women, that's a different story. For men, doesn't really matter that much. You can be out camping for a 3 day weekend, not shave or shower, and come back even more attractive than before you left. That's my opinion.

Looks are the most important factor, most critical of which is height. I was one of those "looks don't matter dudes" for about 18 months, then I realized the guys who were pulling and getting rock solid numbers were really good looking, and many times coasting by with very little game.

As an experiment, I've stopped and started using my elevated shoes periodically (I'm 5'4" and they add 3 to 4 1/2 inches). There's no comparison. When I'm taller I get more approach invitations, more DDB, more girls reluctant to eject, etc. I'm a believer now.

Sure sure sure. I wouldn't with argue that.

But to take the analogy further, it's like comparing a Porsche to a 1960s VW Bug. Yes, I could get into the Porsche and drive it into a tree, but typically, given some level of driving competence, the Porsche will outperform the Bug any day. Likewise, all things being equal as far as social anxiety, the better-looking dude doesn't need to work nearly as hard to get girls attracted; the average good-looking guy will typically outperform the average not-so-good-looking guy.

I'm with short shit on this one.

And, my personal pet peeve is when instructors do not acknowledge that their looks have played a big part in them becoming good.
That's why humility and lack of "pretty boy" looks are high on my requirement list right now when looking for an instructor.

(Nick Quick, aka Adonis is the perfect example).
